<\/span>The Graphic Editor provides several ways to control the display of the drawing in plan and 3D windows.
<\/span><\/div>\n
You can zoom to change the magnification or pan to reposition the view in the drawing area.
<\/span><\/div>\n
All display control options are located in the above structure tree.
<\/span><\/div>\n
The following options are available:<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Refresh Display <\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/div>\n

Re-generates all drawing entities using stored geometry information.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n
Rotation Center<\/span> <\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/div>\n
    \n
  1. If toggled, the model rotates around the cursor’s current location.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. If untoggled, model rotates around the model center.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. alternatively, hit "F9" on the keyboard to change the rotation center.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
    Rotate Coordinate System <\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>\n
    Rotates the 2D coordinate system on floor plan.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/div>\n
    Display Axis Indicators <\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>\n
    Works only on plan view. If toggled, the axis name will be indicated at the edge along the axis when zoomed to area where axes labels are not visible.<\/span><\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    Display Style <\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
    To switch the Display Style of the 3D view between Linear and Rendered
    <\/span><\/div>\n
                  
    <\/span><\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    Zoom Window <\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

    You can quickly zoom in on an area by picking the opposite corners of the zoom window that defines it.
    After selecting the "Zoom Window" option, specify the opposite corners of the zoom window in the drawing area by dragging two points.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Zoom Previous<\/span><\/b><\/span>
    <\/span><\/div>\n

    All zoom operations are stored. So, anytime, a previous display can be recalled using the "Zoom Previous" option.<\/span><\/p>\n


    <\/span><\/div>\n
    Zoom Extents<\/span><\/b><\/span>
    <\/span><\/div>\n

    "Zoom Extents" displays a view that includes all selected objects at the highest magnification that will fit in the drawing area. If nothing is selected, it zooms to fit for the entire building.<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/div>\n
    Zoom In and Zoom Out<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>\n

    "Zoom In" increases the magnification of the current view by 20% and "Zoom Out" decreases the magnification by a similar amount. This option can be used to quickly zoom in and out to the center of the current view.<\/span>
    <\/span>
    <\/span>\u201cZoom In\u201d and "Zoom Out" functionalities are assigned to the mouse wheel. If you rotate mouse wheel forward you can zoom-in and if you rotate mouse wheel backward you can zoom-out the active view. If the 3D Windows are visible, the wheel will control the window that has the focus.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Pan<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>\n

    After selecting the "Pan" option, you can pan the drawing image to a new location by dragging two points that defines the pan direction and amount.<\/span>
    <\/span>
    <\/span>\u201cPan\u201d functionality is assigned to the middle mouse button. If you press and drag the middle mouse button (wheel button in IntelliMouse) you can pan the plan and 3D windows.<\/span><\/p>\n
