            1. We do not recommend that you import a new Revit model fresh into ProtaStructure.<\/span><\/li>\n
            2. It is highly recommended you start the model in ProtaStructure to ensure an accurate structural model.<\/span><\/li>\n

              ProtaBIM Installation
              <\/span><\/h2>\n
              Firstly, install <\/span><\/span>ProtaBIM <\/span><\/span><\/span>in the same laptop or PC where Revit is installed. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
              Latest & previous versions of ProtaBIM can be obtained here <\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> <\/span><\/span> Downloads<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/div>\n

              Installation

              1. Double-click on the downloaded ProtaBIM exe file. 
                <\/span><\/li>\n
              2. Choose all default options to install. 
                <\/span><\/li>\n
              3. When you first start Revit after ProtaBIM installation, you maybe prompted a warning "Security Add-in for ProtaBIM", click "<\/span>Always Load<\/b><\/span><\/span>" to confirm.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. Revit <\/span><\/span>2024 <\/span><\/span><\/b>& prior versions are supported.  Revit<\/span><\/span> 2025<\/span><\/span><\/b> is not supported yet.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
                2. ProtaBIM for Revit only works if <\/span>"Structural Discipline<\/b>"<\/span><\/span> is installed and selected during installation of Revit.
                  <\/span><\/li>\n
                3. During Autodesk Revit installation, the installer may prompt for the disciplines. Structural must be checked.
                  <\/span><\/li>\n
                4. The plugin will not be visible for \u201cArchitectural\u201d or other disciplines.
                  <\/span><\/li>\n
                5. Please make sure that the computer is using Revit with structural configuration.
                  <\/span><\/li>\n
                6. When you install ProtaBIM, it automatically registers itself for Revit.
                  <\/span><\/li>\n
                7. DLL files are installed on \u201cC:Program Files(x86)ProtaProtaBIMXX\u201d  by default.

                              Checking option <\/span><\/span> Import slabs by interior points<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/b>will avoid slab trimming and overlapping with other member issues. Use this option only if the first import is unsatisfactory.
