Once the plane has been defined the slab can simply be moved into the new plane.&nbsp; This method can also be used to model inclined \/ slanting beams. <br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><br \/>\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\">We will use a simple table top model as illustration&nbsp; be inserted.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Initially, as shown below, the plane is placed horizontally at the storey level &#8211; the level and inclination being controlled by three node points at the corners of the plane (\u201c<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Point: 1<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\"> \u201c, \u201c<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Point: 2<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">\u201d and \u201c<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Point: 3<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">\u201d fields).&nbsp; A plane is completely defined by 3 points so the 4<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: normal\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\"> point is calculated internally &amp; This means that plane is parallel to the storey level and at the same level. If you enter a positive value to the \u201cZ\u201d field of a corner point related corner point will be raised by that amount relative to the storey level.
