Hence for wall, 3 axes are needed for create the 2 insertion points.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\">To define a new wall member:<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Display the storey level in the drawing area which will contain the top of the wall.<\/span><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Press the \u201c<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Wall<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">\u201d button located in the &quot;<\/span><i><span class=\"colour\">Modelling<\/span><\/i><span class=\"colour\">&quot; ribbon &gt; Wall &quot;Properties&quot; dialog will appear.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: decimal\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Edit the fields in the &quot;<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Wall Properties<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">&quot; form. In this case wall will be placed vertically between the storey levels.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<h1 id=\"Wall_Shortcut_Menu\" class=\"toc_anchors\"><b style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 32px\" class=\"size\">Wall Shortcut Menu<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/h1>\n<div><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\">You can access the most often used command options for the wall by first selecting a wall or multiple walls :&nbsp;<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\">The Wall ribbon will appear with at the top containing all relevant commands <br \/><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\">Alternatively, right-click anywhere in the modelling view will also expose the same shortcut menu.&nbsp;<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><span class=\"colour\"><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\">Command functions for<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\">&nbsp;single wall selection includes \u201cPolyline Wall Editor\u201d, \u201cSection&nbsp;Design\u201d, \u201cElevation Drawing\u201d and \u201cPunching Check\u201d. One member at a time can be edited by this method. &quot;Geo&quot; = Geometry. This field (after formatting) is limited to 11 characters. A text control spin button exists to the right of the label field to facilitate the creation of&nbsp;successive label text.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"colour\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">As in all member types, wall member labels will be listed in the \u201c<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Structure Tree<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">\u201d under the related storey heading. This list can be used to select a member by label.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"line-height: 20px\"><span class=\"font\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Repeating member labels is not permitted in a building. During the insertion of members the program will sound an alarm and a warning message will appear in the status bar if a repeating member label is detected.<\/span><\/span><\/span><span class=\"colour\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h2 class=\"toc_anchors\" id=\"Len_Length_Storey\"><b style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span class=\"colour\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\" class=\"size\">Len (Length Storey)&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"line-height: 20px\"><span class=\"font\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">Enter the number of storeys the wall spans. Generally, every wall spans one storey in building type structures. If the wall span more than one storey, the number of storeys can be defined in this field.<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 20px\"><span class=\"font\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">For example, if a wall in the 4<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">&nbsp;storey spans to the 2<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">nd<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">&nbsp;storey top level, this means that the wall will exist along 4<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">&nbsp;and 3<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">rd<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px\" class=\"size\"><span class=\"colour\">&nbsp;storeys.
