A slightly bigger scooter and months without riding meant it was a good idea for Tien to practice a little before taking the M1 test, even though she's been riding for over 10 years. Unfortunately the SF DMV closes off its parking lot in off-hours, so we couldn't just go over there and practice on the actual testing ground.
