I'd been throwing around the idea of picking up a f/1.2 lens, but the thought of having another MF lens wasn't all that awesome. My friend Dan picked up the Canon 50mm f/1.2L AF and after looking at how great the images were I thought I'd finally pick one up, so I found this pre-AI Nikkor 55mm f/1.2 S•C on CL. It just barely fits on my D800, but I'll have to have it converted in order for it to function well. It's too bad that Canon is the only manufacturer who makes f/1.2 AF lenses.
