This morning I opened my door and there was a chinaman standing in my doorway, hanging up his cell phone and motioning to come inside with some tools. He couldn't speak english, and I had no idea what was going on, but I vaguely recognized him so I let him in, hopped on my scooter and rode away wondering what it was all about.

I came home and found my rear stairwell destroyed.
