I hear cops all the time, that's only natural living 3 blocks from the police station, so I was a little alarmed to walk outside and see this scene shortly after hearing some sirens on my block. All the SFMTA guy would tell me is that it was some crime involving a passenger and a gesture that looked to me like a passing vehicle. So, basically I don't know what happened. The cops said something about clothes and the handle of the cable car that controls its grip on the cable, and it looked like a woman and a man were involved. Rice-a-roni was unavailable for comment as their hours are 7:30am - 5:00pm central time Monday through Friday.
